As occurs every year, in early September Venice's Lido welcomes international stars for the Venice Film Festival. Opening night is August 31st with "La La Land" by the young award-winning American director Damien Chazelle. The film is in official competition, starring Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, John Legend and J.K. Simmons, all highly awaited by fans on the red carpet.
